La Cupola di San Pietro

Minion and her sister came back to Rome with us after our weekend in Crete.  One of the highlights of their visit was a climb up the dome of St. Peter's!  I didn't take a whole lot of pictures because my camera battery was dying, but here is at least the view from the very top of the dome, and some from the roof behind the colonnade.  It was quite the epic experience!
