Yesterday I had a meeting with my thesis adviser for next semester. Not sure I'm ready for this...but at any rate, I pulled out a bunch of books from the library to begin researching over Christmas break. My topic is the bildungsroman (coming of age story) in American children's literature, as seen in Newbery Medal winners. Wish me luck![/caption]
